Blue Fire Stage is excited to announce our summer 2024 production:

The Great American Trailer Park Musical

Here is a short synopsis:
There’s a new tenant at Armadillo Acres—and she’s wreaking havoc all over Florida’s most exclusive trailer park. When Pippi, the stripper on the run, comes between the Dr. Phil–loving, agoraphobic Jeannie and her tollbooth collector husband—the storms begin to brew.

This production is open to actors aged 18 and over.

Auditions will be held on June 3 and June 4, with callbacks on June 6. Rehearsals will begin on June 17. Conflicts will be collected at auditions.

Actors should sign up for EITHER Monday, June 3 OR Tuesday, June 4, and should plan to arrive at 7 PM, and to stay for the entire time. Most auditioners will be done before 9 PM. The audition will consist of a vocal audition, a brief ensemble choreography section, and scene reading, as needed.

Call backs will be held on Thursday, June 6, 7 - 9 PM

WHAT TO PREPARE: Please prepare a 32-bar cut of any song in the genre of the show.

LOCATION: Auditions are being held at the former Haddam Elementary School, 272 Saybrook Road in Higganum. Actors will enter through the glass doors in the back of the building (past the basketball courts).

PERFORMANCE INFORMATION: This production will be performed at Deep River Town Hall Auditorium, on Thursday July 25, Friday July 26 & Saturday July 27 at 7 PM
