Kids Acting Workshop Weekend — Building Confidence and Skills on Stage!

Is your kiddo looking to step into the spotlight? Whether your child is brand new to acting or already loves performing, this three-day workshop is a fun, supportive way to build confidence, creativity, and stage skills.

Participants will explore improvisation, monologue and scene work, through group and solo performances with live feedback, all designed to help young performers feel more natural, expressive, and fearless in front of an audience. The weekend wraps up with a final performance where students can show off what they’ve learned.

Dates: June 19, 20 & 21
Ages: Entering 5th grade through high school
Cost: $100 per child | $75 for each sibling
Schedule:
  • June 19 (6–8 pm): Haddam Congregational Church
  • June 20 (10 am–3 pm): Haddam Congregational Church + breakout groups at Brainerd Memorial Library
  • June 21 (1–4 pm): Final performance at Haddam Firehouse Community Room
A great chance to make friends, stretch imaginations, and discover the thrill of bringing stories to life on stage.
Participants may bring script options if desired, but it is not required.
Deadline to register: Sunday June 7
